Breaking Through Pancreatic Cancer with Revolution Medicines

For decades, KRAS mutations drove more than 90% of pancreatic tumors with no viable therapeutic target. That is now changing.

Break Through Cancer’s Conquering KRAS in Pancreatic Cancer TeamLab has spent years generating uniquely deep molecular data on advanced pancreatic cancer in the laboratory and through a first-of-its-kind clinical trial assessing daraxonrasib — a pan-RAS inhibitor developed by Revolution Medicines that has demonstrated a near doubling of survival in metastatic pancreatic cancer. The TeamLab’s clinical trial studies paired pre- and on-treatment biopsies and blood samples to understand how tumors respond, adapt, and resist at the molecular level.

In this conversation, Mark Goldsmith, MD, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of Revolution Medicines, and Tyler Jacks, PhD, President of Break Through Cancer, examine what the science is showing, where the field goes next, and why the partnership between academic research and industry is essential to getting there.
